Shriners International

Being a Shriner has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love our Fraternity and all the opportunities it affords me: To be part of a selfless, compassionate brotherhood; to improve the world and our home communities; and to make incredible differences in the lives of children. And through it all, to have fun!.  Sharing these experiences with other good men is why we work so hard to increase our membership numbers.

Vision

The Canadian Association of Shrine Temples (CAST) is dedicated to the unification and representation of the member Shrine Temples across Canada. CAST will work in collaboration with the Canadian Temples to strengthen and grow our membership, act as an advocate and united voice to Shriners International and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

OUR MISSION

Promote the exchange of information within Canadian Shrine Temples

Demonstrate a value proposition of Shriners International to our Masonic communities

Increase public awareness through our continued support of our Shriners Hospitals for Children

Increase the desire of Masons to become Shrine members through examples of our actions and behaviour

Promote cordiality and friendship among the Shrine Temples in Canada

Promote the health, growth and well-being of Shrine Temples in Canada and the world over, through exemplary leadership, comradery, education and compassion

As members of Shriners International, Canadian Temples have access to the many neighboring   Shriners Hospitals for Children as well as our own Hospital in Montreal, while proving loving, supportive care for our Shrine Children.  Our Shriners Hospitals  are a network of non-profit medical facilities for Children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. Our Shrine Children are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the patients' ability to pay.

Our pediatric care teams are led by some of the most innovative doctors in the world. We provide advanced care and procedures for orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions and injuries, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate, and other complex health care needs. And it doesn’t stop there!

Our compassionate, wraparound care envelops your child in a supportive and loving environment that helps them thrive

Be A Shriner Now

Dear Fellow Nobles,

Being a Shriner has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love our Fraternity and all the opportunities it affords me: To be part of a selfless, compassionate brotherhood; to improve the world and our home communities; and to make incredible differences in the lives of children. And through it all, to have fun!.  Sharing these experiences with other good men is why we work so hard to increase our membership numbers.

So I’m especially pleased to let you know that the all-new, revamped BeAShrinerNow.com website has launched, making it easier than ever for all of us to bring new members into our fraternity.

Our Shriners International marketing and membership teams have worked hard to make this tool attractive, effective and very easy to use. In addition, we’ve aimed to train at least one Noble from each Temple on the ins and outs of the new website, so if you have questions, there should be someone in your Temple who can help.

Together as brothers, we improve lives and communities, and we enjoy having fun together all the while. I can’t wait to start using this amazing new website to help us spread the word and bring even more men of good character into our Fraternity.

Yours in the faith,

James R. "Jim" Smith
